Coming from a country where healthcare is freely accessible, it can be difficult to imagine what it is like where access to medical diagnosis, treatment and aftercare can be difficult, non-existent and expensive. Millions of people in Asia and the Arab World have limited or no access to good healthcare. In some areas the only medical care available is provided by Christians who run hospitals and clinics in some of the poorest, most deprived parts of the world.
Those involved in the health professions have one of the most natural inroads to ministry in the name of Jesus. Opportunities abound in all areas of the field.
